Grab lunch while giving back and help us make a paw-sitive impact for pets in need\, every dollar truly makes a difference. This May\, during National Pet Month\, First Commerce Credit Union invites you to honor the life and legacy of Liz Nix\, a passionate advocate for animal welfare\, by supporting local animal rescue organizations across North Florida and South Georgia. The Liz Nix Fundraiser for Animal Rescue runs May 1 31 and brings together members\, staff\, and community partners to raise both funds and awareness for animals in need. All funds raised throughout the month are distributed directly to participating\, community-based rescue organizations\, with 100% of proceeds staying local to support rescue\, adoption\, medical care\, and humane animal welfare efforts. Since its launch in 2022\, the fundraiser has raised more than $35\,000 and continues to grow each year while remaining rooted in compassion\, advocacy\, and responsible pet ownership.
