DESCRIPTION:Please join us for a St. Patrick's Day Celebration at Chamber Connects on March 17\, 2022 at 4-6 PM. Our host for March is the Treehouse Children's Advocacy Center (more information below). \n\n\n\nThere will be live music\, door prizes\, drinks and light bites for all that attend as we kick off the Oakfest 2022 Celebrations... don't forget your GREEN! \n\n\n\nWebsite: https://treehousethomasville.org/\n\n\n\nMore About the Host: \n\n\n\nThe Treehouse is the first and only children's advocacy center in Thomas County. The Treehouse opened its doors in 2011 with one full-time staff member. Since that time\, The Treehouse has grown into a center with three full-time staff\, four contract staff\, and one volunteer medical director.\n\nThe Treehouse is a children's advocacy center providing a safe\, comfortable\, child-friendly environment for children and their non-offending caregivers when allegations of abuse arise. The Center provides services and coordination necessary for families during child abuse investigations. Our staff provides forensic interviews\, forensic medical exams\, advocacy\, counseling and other service referrals. Children's Advocacy Centers keep children the top priority at all times.\n\nAlong with The Treehouse\, a Multi-Disciplinary Team consisting of law enforcement\, Department of Family and Childrens Services\, the District Attorney's Office\, and others work together to investigate cases of child abuse.
