Upland Wildlife Festival- School Day
Chehaw Park and Zoo in Albany, Georgia has a special opportunity just for students during our Upland Wildlife Festival. School day during this festival will be filled with LIVE ANIMAL PRESENTATIONS and Life Science & STEM activities.
Upland Wildlife Festival Mission: The Upland Wildlife Festival inspires community connection to Georgia’s native habitats through conservation, education, and outdoor celebration—highlighting wildlife, the role of land management, and recreation in sustaining biodiversity.
This field trip is priced for everyone, all Festival Activities and Programs are included with Park Admission, just $5 per student, teacher, and chaperone. Groups can couple their Festival visit with a trip to the Zoo at only $7 for Park and Zoo Admission.
School Day Program Schedule:
- Southeast Reptile Rescue- Reptile Show (including venomous)?
- 9:30 & 12:30 pm
- Bird of Prey Flight Show
- 10:30 & 1 pm
- LIVE Onsite Controlled Burn- GA DNR uses Drone Technology
- 11:30 am
