Position overview
The Thomasville Area Board of REALTORS® (TABR) is hiring an Association Executive (AE) 
to lead association operations, financial administration, governance support, and member 
services. The AE is the chief staff executive and works under the direction of the Board of 
Directors through the President, ensuring implementation of Board-approved policies, programs, 
and procedures. 
Key responsibilities
Governance & Leadership Support
• Support Board and Officer functions; prepare reports and ensure leadership remains informed 
on operations 
• Serve as staff liaison to committees; AE serves as ex-officio member of all committees 
Financial Management & Reporting
• Assist in annual budget development and manage operations within the approved budget 
• Oversee accounting practices including deposits, reconciliations, and monthly reporting 
• Coordinate annual review/audit requirements and year-end reporting timelines
Membership Services & Communications
• Manage membership billing and dues remittances; maintain accurate member records 
• Produce member communications and newsletters 
Administration, Records & Operations
• Maintain corporate/association records and ensure appropriate record retention practices 
• Manage vendor relationships and office systems; administer MLS/lockbox services when 
applicable 
Travel requirement
• Three conferences per year required:
• One in Q1, generally in Atlanta
• Two in Q3, which may be anywhere in the United States
• Additional limited local travel may occur as needed for association business.
Qualifications
• 3+ years in operations leadership, association/nonprofit management, real estate industry 
support, or similar role
• Strong budgeting and financial reporting capability
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• High attention to detail, confidentiality, and follow-through
• Ability to collaborate with volunteer leadership and represent the organization professionally
• Proficiency with standard office tools (Google/Microsoft suites, spreadsheets) and ability to 
learn association systems quickly
Preferred: CAE or REALTOR® association/MLS experience.
