Customer Service Representative

Centek, the global leader in marine exhaust and engine room ventilation manufacturing, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive administrative professional to join our team as a Customer Service Representative (CSR). The CSR will be part of a team focused on customer service, order entry and shipping for two side-by-side facilities in Thomasville, GA. 

As a key point of contact for customers worldwide, the CSR will collaborate with every department in the organization, ensuring seamless order processing and exceptional customer support.

Key Responsibilities:


Customer Interaction & Support
  • Respond to customer inquiries via phone or email.
  • Provide accurate information about products, services, pricing, and company policies.
  • Assist customers with placing orders, processing returns, and handling complaints.
  • Identify customer issues and provide effective solutions in a timely manner.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude in all interactions.
Order Entry & Processing:
  • Enter and process customer orders accurately 
  • Verify order details, including pricing, quantities, and customer information to ensure accuracy.
  • Communicate with customers regarding order confirmations and delivery timelines.
  • Coordinate with Sales, Engineering, Production, Finance and Shipping teams to prioritize and fulfill orders on time.
  • Process order modifications, cancellations, and returns in compliance with company policies.
Shipping & Logistics Coordination:
  • Prepare and review shipping documents, including packing lists, invoices, bills of lading, and customs paperwork.
  • Schedule and coordinate shipments with carriers
  • Work with Warehouse Shipping staff to ensure proper labeling, tracking, and documentation for all outgoing shipments.
  • Track shipments and provide updates to customers regarding delivery status.
  • Handle shipping-related inquiries, discrepancies, and issue resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with domestic and international shipping regulations.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, or a related field is a plus.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in order entry, shipping, or a related administrative role in manufacturing, logistics, or distribution.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (Epicor or similar), shipping software (CH Robinson, UPS, FedEx,), and Microsoft Office Suite a plus 
  • Attention to Detail: Strong data entry skills with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact with customers, vendors, and internal teams.
  • Problem-Solving: Ability to think critically, troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
  • Multitasking: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple orders and shipments simultaneously.
  • Team Player: Ability to collaborate with different departments to ensure smooth operations.
