Implement physicians’ orders, provide oversight, develop Healthcare Plans, and document care as required by company policy and local/state/federal rules and regulations. Must have the ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly and maintain patient, team member and employer confidentiality and comply with all HIPPA regulations. Direct and guide ancillary personnel and maintain standards of professional nursing. Apply sound nursing judgment in care management decisions. Direct and supervise LPNs CNAs and non-licensed medical personnel. Adhere to the protocols, norms, rules and regulations in order to maintain complete medical records. Conducts audits for improving nursing practices and healthcare outcomes. Discuss treatment with physicians and pharmacists in critical cases. Nursing tasks are delegated and supervised by the Registered Nurse appropriate to the delegate’s expertise and training.
