Procurement Manager

Cleaver-Brooks is seeking a hands-on, analytical Procurement Manager to oversee Production Operations at our Thomasville, GA manufacturing facility. This role balances day-to-day execution with strategic thinking, ensuring materials are available when and where they are needed while driving efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance.

  • Supplier Performance & Cost Management
    KPI: Supplier On-Time Delivery %, supplier quality, cost savings and avoidance ($)

Key Responsibilities 

  • Lead procurement strategy for Thomasville production with a forward-looking, data-driven approach.
  • Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to demand, supply, cost, and inventory.
  • Ensure timely, accurate, and cost-effective procurement of materials supporting production operations.
  • Determine optimal product placement strategies, including stock and dropship.
  • Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure adherence to terms and conditions.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess.
  • Track, analyze, and report procurement KPIs using Excel and business intelligence tools (Power BI a plus).
  • Build, coach, and develop a high-performing procurement team focused on future leadership readiness.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements. 

Qualifications 

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.

Experience: 

  • 5+ years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience, including people leadership.
  • Proven results in developing and growing a high-performing team. 

Skills & Capabilities: 

  • Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
  • Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable plans.
  • Power BI or other data visualization experience preferred.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Demonstrated leadership aligned with Cleaver-Brooks’ core values.
