About Us

The Juneteenth of Thomasville-Thomas County Foundation Inc., is a non profit organization aimed to address barriers to resources in the underserved, underprivileged communities as well as educate the community and promote diversity, inclusion and equity through an annual festival, free workshops and other events throughout the year.

Our Mission is to address barriers to resources in the underserved, underprivileged communities, increase diversity, inclusion and equity by celebrating, commemorating and educating others about the African Americans’ culture, their freedom and achievements and through our annual festival and other events throughout the year.

Our Vision is to promote diversity, inclusion and equity as well as to break pre-judgmental barriers about the origins of the African Americans and their path to freedom. We believe respect and appreciation for our differences grows out of exposure and working together.
