About Us

Spark Thomasville is a nonprofit business incubator dedicated to empowering underestimated entrepreneurs in Thomasville, Georgia. Established in 2019, Spark offers a 12-week Entrepreneur Training Program, workshops, seminars, and events that equip aspiring business owners with foundational business education. The program focuses on addressing challenges such as limited access to capital, networking opportunities, education, and mentorship. By providing education, coaching, and funding, Spark aims to help entrepreneurs overcome barriers and achieve success.

Since its inception, Spark has supported over 70 entrepreneurs, offering more than 8,475 hours of business coaching and financial training. The organization has also facilitated the creation of the Spark Alumni Fund, a $100,000 initiative that provides low-cost, flexible loans to graduates, helping them scale their businesses and create job opportunities within the community.

In 2025, Spark launched five targeted entrepreneurial training cohorts to address critical community needs, including Business Finance Essentials, Tax Prep Assistance, Building for Success (focused on housing development), Childcare Business Expansion, and a Signature Entrepreneurship Training program. These cohorts are designed to provide entrepreneurs with the skills, knowledge, and access to capital necessary for success.
