About Us

The Thomas County Health Department — located at 484?Smith Ave in Thomasville — is part of the Georgia Department of Public Health’s Southwest District, delivering a broad array of public health services to the community. They provide immunizations (child, adult, travel), TB skin tests, school and daycare physicals, KanBe Healthy physicals, HIV/STD testing, family planning, pap smears, lab work, maternal & infant programs, lactation support, hearing and vision screening, and more.

Operating Monday–Thursday from 7:30?AM to 5:00?PM, the department supports accessible care and education for community wellness . Their mission is to improve lives by promoting health, preventing disease, and preparing for emergencies through service, advocacy, and collaboration.
