A movie set in the Victorian era screened in a Victorian house! Come watch the Queen of the Desert at the Lapham-Patterson House. The Queen of the Desert chronicles Gertrude Bell’s life as a traveler, writer, archaeologist, explorer, cartographer, and political attache for the British Empire at the dawn of the twentieth century. FSU's Dr. Peter Garretson will facilitate a discussion on Gertrude Bell's global impact.
