Grounds Maintenance Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a dependable Grounds Maintenance Worker to assist with maintaining city right-of-ways, parking lots, government buildings, and other city properties. This role involves operating light landscaping equipment and performing general outdoor maintenance duties.

Responsibilities

• Mow street right-of-ways and city properties
• Maintain parking lots, government buildings, and landscaped areas
• Operate light equipment including:
  • Riding mower
  • Small tractor
  • Weed eater
  • Blower
• Perform general grounds and maintenance duties as assigned
• Assist with scheduled maintenance of equipment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Some landscaping or grounds maintenance experience preferred
• Experience operating light equipment
• Valid driver’s license required
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
