General Laborers

Job Summary

Quality Employment Service is currently seeking multiple General Laborers to support production operations in a manufacturing environment. This role involves assisting with the fabrication and assembly of components in departments such as jacketing, pipe, and tubing.

The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with fabrication and assembly of components
• Interpret project blueprints and technical drawings
• Accurately read and take measurements using a tape measure
• Operate cranes to move materials throughout the shop
• Use hand tools and power tools with precision
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow instructions from foreman and shop supervisors
• Comply with OSHA standards and company safety policies

Qualifications

Required:

• Ability to accurately read a tape measure
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Basic understanding of hand and power tools
• Strong attention to detail

Preferred:

• Previous manufacturing or production experience
• Experience reading blueprints or schematics
• Experience operating shop equipment or cranes

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift 50+ lbs regularly
• Ability to stand and work on feet for extended periods
• Ability to safely operate power tools

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/industrial setting
• Exposure to machinery, noise, and varying temperatures
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
