Social Services Program Coordinator 3

Job Summary:
Leads, evaluates, and assists with development and administration of policies and programs of social service and community agencies, and related programs that are designed to protect the social welfare of individuals and communities. Oversee clinical processes in all departments which includes tracking, evaluating, and reporting progress to Executive Director, Leadership and Program Directors; and provide strategies to improve progress. Directs subordinate managers and staff.
 Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Remain well-connected to customers to ensure their needs are being factored into the policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor the marketplace and analyze opportunities that may maximize our visibility, reach and growth in revenue and services. Join and Attend community collaboratives in the community.
  • Analyze and assesses the effectiveness of existing programs to ensure the identified outcome measures are achieved.
  • Review new and current programs to determine their efficiency, effectiveness, and compliance with state, local and federal regulations.
  • Monitor POM’s (Personal Outcome Measures), collect data, and complete a quarterly report that gives overall strengths and areas to improve; suggest strategies to support successful outcomes.
  • Assist with CQL (The Council on Quality and Leadership)
  • Build and foster creative teams that are committed to our culture of innovation and excellence.
  • Encourage a cooperative team-oriented environment within departments and with other agencies and providers.
  • Facilitate communication within the department(s)/agency on a department specific issues as well as on a procedure/policy level.
  • Oversee all committees to ensure they are operating in accordance with policy and/or procedures (Safety Committee, Right’s Committee, Employee Mediation, etc.).
  • Interview, hire, direct, oversee training/train, evaluate the performance of, and when necessary, discipline and recommend discharge of employees.
  • Complete Program directors’ PMF’s and signoff on PMF’s completed by Program Directors.
  • Supervise Directors of Service Programs (Day Program and Residential) to ensure operations are consistently administered according to policy and procedure.
  • Participates in contract negotiations.
Entry Qualifications:
Master’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Two years of related experience OR Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited college or university AND Four years of related experience OR Two years of experience at the lower level Social Svcs Prgm Coord 2 (SSP031) or position equivalent. Note: some positions require eligibility for licensure.
